Opening September 11, "The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art" is the first major exhibition of modern Korean art ever held in the West. Featuring over 130 artworks by 88 artists, this exhibition illustrates transformative shifts in scale, technique, and medium that came to define the art of the modern era in Korea. With artworks ranging from oils to photography to sculpture that are rarely exhibited in the U.S., this show will offer a unique opportunity for audiences to learn about the link that connects the traditional to the contemporary. This exhibition was organized by LACMA with the @mmcakorea. To accompany the exhibition, #rm of @bts.bighitofficial has selected 10 of his favorite works from the exhibition to create an audio tour for the exhibition. His tour can be accessed in both English and Korean in LACMA's galleries, as well as on the MMCA's website beginning September 11. 💜
