Every Traeger Independence Day we have the chance to learn from a great leader. Have to say I was wildly impressed by @utahfootball Kyle Whittingham. As a crazed BYU football fan since birth, I’ve been painfully aware of what a great coach he is. But after spending time with him I left with even more respect for Coach Whittingham as a leader, team builder and culture builder. How he led his team through the passing of two teammates within 9 months is inspiring. What he has built over nearly 20 years running the program is remarkable. And hearing how he’s evolved as a coach and leader motivates me to evolve as CEO of Traeger. He’s a fierce competitor who is thoughtful and kind, and clearly loves his staff and players. Thank you Coach for dropping wisdom for me and my team, and Team Traeger for sticking with me as I try to get better every day!
