To answer a few of them:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Why?” Well, the idea actually came to Rasmus Munk when he heard about a friend that had been diagnosed with tongue cancer. But as well as raising awareness (like now on @worldcancerday) the dish has become a way to investigate our feelings of disgust and pleasure when confronted with something delicious in a provoking format. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ “Is it a real tongue?” No, it’s made of silicone but cast from a human tongue. The tongue basically fills the function of a spoon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Are guests freaked out?” It is a part of our DNA as a restaurant to raise awareness, discuss and provoke – and food is our primary language.
