I want to give you a couple of updates on what is happening in 2023. My cost of marine collagen has gone up 50% in 2022 alone. Since I began using marine collagen in holi (youth) in 2018, the price has more than tripled. I personally met with my supplier in October to figure out a solution, which varied from sourcing cheaper fish skins, to raising the price of the collagen. My supplier's collagen is superior to anything I've found on the market and changing the quality is not an option. Why would I ever cheapen it or give you something that doesn't work as well? Option 2 was for me to raise the price over $100. Neither of these solutions worked for me. Some of you noticed that the spoon size changed in your most recent bag of holi (mane). The larger spoon is a true 13 grams. The smaller sized spoon is 10 grams and this is why your bag of holi (mane) has lasted 40-45 days. In February we will be using the 10 gram spoon and reducing the size of the bag from 390 grams to 300 grams, which will still give you a 30 day supply, with the same dosage you are used to. On January 1 I raised the price of holi (mane) by $1 and slightly increased some of the prices of the skincare. I have only increased the price of certain formulas one time in 7 years, and the majority of the prices have never been raised. I've raised the price of the collagen only once up until now. I am trying my best to keep my prices reasonable. I am not changing suppliers, the quality or the integrity of any of my ingredients even though my prices have drastically increased in 2022.
