In terms of building smoother skin, you want to make sure that you’re hydrating and properly restoring the natural skin barrier at the epidermal layer. Dry, dehydrated skin can definitely accentuate the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I also recommend doing things that can build collagen in the dermal layer to maintain the integrity of the skin. I am a fan of eye creams because there are some collagen building ingredients that might be too strong for the eye area, so finding something formulated for the eye area is safer.
