✨ It’s my 9th Art Basel and for some reason this year felt really special. This year was (relatively) quieter and more intimate. It was the first year I felt fully in sync with Miami as our new home. Our community of friends and family here makes my heart so full. The shows were great. Design Miami, the main fair, Nada, Unitiled, all the lunches, museum walk-throughs— I just feel so filled up with joy and inspiration from artists we got to meet and discover this year (especially Miami locals like Hernan Bas — spending time with him at his Miami studio this spring with all the in-process work and then seeing the complete show come to life at The Bass was epic). Art will always be my first love. Even though I don’t work in it I’m so grateful I studied it. This week was a reminder to make the time for the things that move you, that are your source of fuel. I’m already excited about what next year’s Basel brings to this magic city. Thank you to everyone who made this week so fun and filled with adventure. ❤️‍🔥
