home sweet home 💛 my first solo apartment, which if you know me is a very big deal - at 15 I ran away from home, sleeping at friends places, crashing on couches, pretty much living out of a backpack. At 19 I worked in a National Park, living in a hostel surrounded by the most supportive and beautiful people I had ever met. We were one big family living in this lush green bubble by the ocean and I woke up everyday feeling so thankful. Now, 9.5 years later I’m having those same feelings, but here in this apartment in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. It’s a work in progress, but I’m so grateful for this space and I can’t wait to have everyone over when it’s safe again.
