Before Geejam became a hotel it was a private residential recording studio for when I was running Gee Street Records and A&R for Island Records in New York. I found Port Antonio to be the most inspiring creative destination on the planet, hence why our recording studio preceded any notion of ever becoming a hotel. I am so pleased that Geejam has now gone full circle and is enjoying equally as many creative retreats and camps for the worldwide music fraternity as it is tourism guests.
