tonight - 8:30pm on SBS - I’ll be on Insight talking all things gender. my own gender journey is one I’ve been exploring recently. when I opened up the conversation to my audience about my own gender and the confusion I have around what category I fit into - I never expected such an overwhelming response from people feeling a similar way to me. I’m a little different to most people. I have “no idea” what label fits. It feels like nothing fits, yet everything could be applicable. Pronouns? Use any of them, because I haven’t found any that stick. Clothes? Whatever feels comfortable! The list goes on. I’m excited to continue my journey - and I know I’ll get to a point some day in the future where I know who I am and what feels correct. Until then, enjoy this fabulous episode - not only because I’m on it, but because so many incredible stories are shared from so many individuals who’s voices deserve to be heard! thanks to SBS and Insight for having me - it was an interesting, difficult, yet rewarding situation to be in. It helped affirm certain things in my journey - and I hope it teaches you something tonight. 😌
