While I’ve always been a fan of What’s Going On, I’ve found on repeat listens Here, My Dear to be his most captivating work sonically. It’s uncensored and raw look into Marvin’s crumbled marriage feels like something that not many high profile musicians did at the time. If you haven’t heard Here, My Dear or In Our Lifetime?
