It was absolutely wonderful meeting this year’s recipients of our Bright Futures Scholarship over dim sum! Reading all of their essays and learning more about them all in person gave us so much hope for the future! Special thanks to the @qianjuliewang & @endingforadverbs for helping judge submissions and meet with the awardees. Thank you also to @lucyywaves from @yuandmebooks for opening up shop for a private after-hours session, where each student went home with a new book! And finally thank you to the lovely SOH team members who worked diligently to keep this program going, especially our wonderful summer intern @brincasiow!
