Ingredients
1 pound skinless and boneless Chicken thighs cut into pieces
2 teaspoon Kosher salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Black sesame seeds - garnish

For the breading
3 eggs beaten
1cup AP flour for coating
1 cup corn starch for coating
- Sauce
3⁄4 cups sugar
1 cup Rice vinegar
1⁄3 cup soy sauce
1⁄3 cup cup Honey
16.9 oz. chicken bone broth * Kettle & Fire*
2 Navel oranges zest and juice
5 Thai chillies ( Finely chopped)
3 garlic cloves grated
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 Tbsp Cornstarch plus 1 tbsp water - for thicker sauce double ratio.
Instructions
1. Cut the cleaned chicken thighs into bite sized pieces and season with salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, smoked paprika and mix well.
2. In a medium size bowl, whisk together cornstarch and all-purpose flour and season with a little bit of salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs.
3. Toss the chicken pieces into the flour mixture then egg mixture, and then back into the flour mixture. Place to the side and repeat.
4. Fill a pot with frying oil and heat to 375F. Fry chicken in batches for 3-5 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
5. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, chicken bone broth, zest and juice of an orange. Whisk together and bring to a boil over high heat.
6. Reduce to medium heat once boiling and let simmer for 8-10 minutes.
7. Separately mix together cornstarch and water then whisk into the sauce while it's hot and mix in until thickened.
8. Immediately add grated, ginger, and Thai chilies. Whisk and let steep.
9. Toss chicken and the sauce in a bowl until fully coated and enjoy!
