It’s hard for my brain to comprehend the scope of the Grand Canyon and its history. Being in this part of Arizona, I’ve been lucky enough to meet and speak with local people to whom this stunning landscape means so much. The Grand Canyon is part of a sacred ancestral lineage for the Hualapai, Havasupai, Hopi, Navajo and Paiute people. I feel grateful to be able to look upon it, and be educated more about its resonance. A humbling reminder to respect the grandeur of nature, and always be open to listen to the wisdom of those who have come before us.
