Today would have been my father’s 65th birthday. For the first time, I almost forgot, which can only mean that somehow, some way, he continues to help me find that state of peace and happiness. Here today it was on the field of one of the most beautiful events I have had the honor of capturing in a dream job that I never went looking for. To be here with two cherished teammates and so many people whom I have come to know as friends through horses is just another reminder that everything in my life started with these generous animals.
