Think Fiji is just about beautiful beaches? Think again!⁠ ⁠ When @tourismfiji invited us to experience their country, I imagined it would involve a lot of white sand beaches and sparkling blue waters.⁠ ⁠ Now granted, we did get to enjoy plenty of those. But what I wasn't expecting was how much adventure we'd find on this trip!⁠ ⁠ One of our favorite experiences was this Sigatoka River Safari. Getting soaked while doing 360s in this jet boat was so much fun! Captain Nox from @sigatokariversafari also taught us so much about the lives of locals who live in this area. This area is still somewhat lacking in infrastructure so there aren’t a lot of bridges. The kids who live on one side of the river literally have to swim across the river every day to get to school! They just throw their books and belongings into a little bucket and make their way across. Visiting one of the villages here was also a highlight of our trip.
