In the spirit of scrappiness and saving a few bucks, we chose to do our semi-annual sales meeting virtually. We holed up in a small photo studio (felt more like a closet) and had two incredible, high-energy days interacting with our field sales team. The vibe was very much the humble-and-hungry early days of Traeger - the feeling of a start-up, the passion in what we’re building, the chip on our shoulder as the underdog, and the sheer will to swim upstream against some challenging macro economic realities. It was AWESOME. We have a fantastic sales team with some great leaders. All are bought-in as much as any team I've ever seen. But every company has behind the scenes the unsung heroes that REALLY do the heavy lifting and make the world go-round (no offense, Luke & Cole ;). That person on our sales team is @steph__sims. Steph gets it done day-in and day-out and was the central nervous system of our sales meeting this week. I’m not sure how we would succeed or even survive without her! And even in the sweatiest, most pressure-filled moments we can always count on her big smile, positive attitude and ridiculously clever wit (which she doesn’t mind pointing at the CEO with a high degree of frequency. ;).
