Scent is an important and under appreciated part of travel imo. Leave it to @ellermanhousehotel - the most wonderfully personal and perfect-to-the-last-detail hotel I’ve ever experienced to absolutely nail it. The entire property (as well as the in-room products, of course) is filled with their signature scent created from botanicals found on the grounds. The actual notes are a secret, but it’s an herbal-green vibe that’s kindof a sage-eucalyptus-grass combo with a health dose of South African magic.
