Let me clear this up from my previous ‘Airport Security’ reel. Two major things I want to make clear.📢🗣 1. I ABSOLUTELY DO tell TSA every time I go through security that I have a prosthetic. I leave my shoes on because of my prosthetic so before I even go through the machine, I get bombarded by multiple agents telling me to take my shoes off, to which I tell every single one of them ‘I have a prosthetic & get screened every time they let me leave them on.’ 2. Not that I should have to clarify this, but I do NOT care that I have to go through this because of my prosthetic. Does it suck? Yes. Is it time consuming? Yes. Do some agents have ZERO clue what they’re doing & it’s frustrating? Yes. Nowhere in my post was I complaining. I completely understand the world we live in & understand protocols that need to be taken at the airport. I get they have to do THEIR job. If you know me, you know I’m a ‘safety’ person. With that being said, I was simply sharing my experience & stating in this post how sometimes it’s frustrating that I have to basically scream through TSA to let everyone know what’s going on. Also the point was letting y’all know, there have been MANY of times where I say ‘I have a prosthetic’ and believe it or not, some agents disregard it until they start feeling, and proceed to ask again.
