This saved me so much prep time!! While that was going, I sautéed bell peppers + onions and made the sweet chili sauce. Once the chicken was done and the veggies cooked to my liking, I tossed it all together, topped with green onions, and served over fluffy rice. Done by 5:30, and zero stress. HOW TO MAKE SWEET CHICKEN CHILI Start your rice first, since it takes the longest to cook. Then, airfry chicken using package instructions. It should take about 12 minutes or less. While chicken cooks, chop and sauté 1 sliced yellow onion + 2 bell peppers (red and yellow) in a little oil avocado until tender. Then add in a tsp of sesame oil. HOW TO MAKE SWEET CHILI SAUCE: 1/4 cup of soy sauce, low sodium 3/4 cup of sweet chili sauce 1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp ground ginger sriracha to taste (adds more spice) black pepper to taste minced garlic (however much you want to use as your business) I used about 2 tbsp. >> Taste the sauce and make sure the sweet and spice and soy flavors are to your liking. If you wanted more sweet and more sweet chili or even some honey. If you wanted it spicier throw in more sriracha. It’s meant to be customized to YOU. Add ½ of the sweet chili sauce to the pan.Toss in cooked chicken, coat well. Add in the rest of the sauce. Garnish with sliced green onions + serve over rice.
