And with that, the 2025 boat season comes to an end. Yesterday morning, the lake had the surf to a dull roar. Only 1-3 foot waves, but as the weather settles in and the winds straighten down from 300 miles away, before to long, you need to add a 1 in front of that wave height. The sunset was struggling to show itself and at the last moment, a hint of brilliance to my most serene moment of every day…then finally, just as its time to depart…a rainbow emerges from the cold, crisp drizzle.
