A month ago the world lost an amazing human, Jen Barber. 700 people showed up at her funeral, and a celebration of life drew an equal crowd. Kristin was closer to her than I was, but with each story I’ve heard recounted about Jen I’ve realized the depth of positivity she left wherever she went. She made every person with whom she interacted feel special and loved like no one I’ve ever known. She was also a massive TRAEGER fan with her husband Geoffrey and sold more grills to friends and family by their love of cooking and feeding family and friends. I’ve reflected a lot on Jen since she passed. She inspires me to be better, to be kinder and to care for others more than myself. And I know 700 people who feel the same. Her legacy will be felt far and wide. It was an honor to cook for her family and close friends who have supported them through a difficult moment. And it’s always a pleasure cooking alongside my good friend and now local Utah celebrity Bennie Kendrick.
