Every member of the “Illusions and Realities” squad of Levitation Orchestra contributed to this melody. Vocalised together over a drone supplied by @parisparisraine, it was instantly full of mystery and visions of far away landscapes. A few members of the group went away and hustled the lines into phrases, bringing rhythm and drive to what had been spacious and airy. Yet you can hear the different members of the group in each cell of the melody, even now 2 years on I can recognise who created which part of the whole. We needed something powerful to underpin it and our rhythm section in usual style rose as they always do to the challenge with joy, daring, and humour.
