The last full month of summer means taking advantage of the seafood-centric restaurants in NYC!! Here are some to visit: @eelbarnyc is the sister restaurant of @cervosnyc that just opened on the LES. Service seems to still be working out the kinks but these fried mussels were memorable @penny_newyork is quite possibly the best restaurant I’ve been to this year. Their potato salad with octopus was such a unique pairing and a phenomenal dish @abuqir in Queens is a fun spot to try- you pick your fish and then they’ll grill or fry it for you depending on your preferences @lebernardinny is my favorite fine dining restaurant in the city and I dream about their scallop and caviar @quiquecrudonyc is the perfect date night spot and it’s serving up some fantastic Mexican seafood @cervosnyc remains one of my top three restaurants in the city, so highly recommend dining al fresco, ordering a glass of wine, and digging into their prawns (with a side of sourdough for dipping) @dame_nyc is one of those effortlessly cool city restaurants and while their savory dishes are top notch, the sticky toffee pudding (when it’s on the menu) is another standout @ma_de.nyc is a great place to go if you love seafood and your dining companion loves veggies, as they do both very well @jaffabrooklyn was a top dine for me last year and is such a fun place to go in the summer, as they have an awesome indoor/outdoor dining setup. Don’t sleep on their frozen drink either @lurefishbar is in a lot of ways more about the vibes than the food but I’m always nostalgic when I go here and I love their fried shrimp Where do you go for seafood in the city?!
