We’ve been buying Guatemala Pulcal from Finca Carmona since 2017, but this farm has been ⁠around since the 1900s. Coffee trees are selectively stumped every few years to make room for more light and air to nourish younger plants, integrating them into production for a healthy balance each harvest. ⁠ ⁠ We think this coffee is tasting spectacular lately, with flavors of brown sugar, chocolate, and concord grape. Each cup is clean and balanced, with a pleasant, mild acidity that keeps us coming back for more.⁠
