Whenever a group of women come together, amazing things happen. There’s an energy source that’s tapped into with shared experiences of life’s unpredictable journey exchanged with those you’ve never met & in result you’re reminded we are all ONE. Unfurling, expanding and releasing our old stories & allowing ourselves to just BE. I had the privilege of sharing a week of wellness with @beautifulnomad_ and the women that made it so unforgettable. When I sat in our closing circle of the week I saw such strength, beauty & light in all of us. I also recognized that each of us are small businesses owners, each in our own form. We had a nutritionist, botanist, body worker, neuroscientist, photographer, interior designer & the list goes on & on. Each of us took the leap of faith to pursue a dream, with our sweat & tears we’ve made something happen & we were all there, away from our businesses. One of the women said it best, ‘My small business is my baby & I am so honored to share it with y’all’. This market is my baby & this last month I stepped away to retreat inside of myself. To put down the to-do’s, step away from the grind mentality & reconnect with the mother herself, ME. I have to recognize those that made it happen while I was abroad. The ones that stepped up so I could go inside myself & come back with a refreshed outlook & invigorated perspective. Thank you to @hutchsheri who always SHOWS UP with her contagious energy & I’ll get it done mentality. To @madcapcreative.co who helped this market launch into what it is today w her web design & vision. To my best girlfriends @et531 & @alexishutch that moved their days around to assist in whatever needed to be done to make the market succeed. To the vendors @805stixandstones & @sal.ceramics_ (and many others) that are FAMILY and not only had to juggle their own set up process for their businesses but also lent a helping hand (or back) when we needed extra muscle. I’m continuously remained of my WHY with this community market because to me we don’t have anything unless we have each other.
