🚨Lengthy sappy post alert🚨 9 years ago on this very date In 2012, while we were both on tour with Jersey Boys, my friend John invited me out to a bar post show. I declined bc my FAVE movie of all time was on tv. He said, “If I can guess your favorite movie, can I come over and watch it with you instead?” He guessed Mrs. Doubtfire...bc it was his favorite too and we spent the night laughing hysterically and reciting every line. It’s what we consider our first date and the moment I thought “I think I want to marry this guy...” Flash forward to today - opening night of Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway - where the stars have once again aligned to place us working on the same show...our favorite of all time. Thank you to EVERYONE who made this possible. The word “grateful” doesn’t do justice to this incredibly serendipitous moment, but somehow, everything feels SO right. Happy opening, @doubtfirebway .
