Today is your last chance to see ‘Roots’ in Times Square! Over 14 million people have had the chance to encounter Charles Gaines’ installation of American Sweetgum trees since they arrived on Duffy Square in July. The closing of ‘Roots’ marks the culmination of Chapter One of ‘The American Manifest’ - the multi-sited exhibition featuring Gaines’ first-ever public artworks, presented by Times Square Arts, Creative Time, and Governors Island Arts.
