Here is a throwback from Halloween when George and Jess from our #SFMade team were able to arrange for incredible guest speaker to talk to the entire @llasf school. LLA is a special SFUSD charter school located on Treasure Island with an outstanding culinary program where students get hands on training and serve lunch to the entire student body! A big thank you to @sfoewd for supporting this fundamental work of career exploration to young people in our City. Students were engaged and asked how Chef comes up with flavors of breads and what he hopes to accomplish next for his business. We are honored to help facilitate these opportunities and have the partnership in SFUSD schools. Manufacturing and making is an engine to entrepreneurship; we love to support it. ❤️🌁 We’re grateful to Chef Azikiwee Anderson for sharing his entrepreneurial journey and his super delicious sourdough breads with bold flavors. Chef Z started making his sourdoughs in the pandemic and the meditative practice of baking through with social unrest helped him find his purpose and build @rizeupbakery to what it is today!
