I had the great pleasure of recording and mixing this Latin-inspired take of “Green Onions” with the inimitable @bookertjonesmusic and his wonderful band in Venice, CA at the end of summer ‘22. I don’t know how many songs in the history of popular music have been re-recorded 60 years later by the original composer/artist... but this is one of them! 🧅💚🧅💚 Happy 60th birthday Green Onions.
