Tony Allen is one of my all time favorite drummers - a true master. His playing is so musical, so fluid, so creative, and he has the best feel imaginable. I didn’t try to play this note for note because that’s impossible with Tony. He plays like water. But it’s incredibly fun to try to pick up some of his parts and swim around in of one the best Fela Kuti songs, “Trouble Sleep Yanga Wake Am.” Thank you!
