Come Home Again: A Choral Sculpture at the Tate Modern Garden commissioned by Cartier and made with guidance from the London Wildlife Trust. Open now 10am till 10pm until 1st October with choral evensong at 7pm every evening except Monday: free and open to all: link in bio I visited St Pauls Cathedral a few years ago to see the Bill Viola works and started to consider the connection between St Pauls, ancient seat of ecclesiastical power, and Bankside power station, historical site of industrial power, now Tate Modern, manifestation of cultural power, and the natural power of the river that links them. The work is conceived as a kind of antiphony to St Pauls across the river: and a response to Micrographia - Robert Hooke’s 1665 collection of drawings of gnats, ants and feathers through one of the first microscopes, made in collaboration with his colleague Christopher Wren who was anatomist and astronomer as well as architect.
