I’ve been such a super slow reader this summer. Been flipping back and forth between a handful of books. None that I’m anywhere close to finishing but truly hope to! Have you read anything good this summer? . - Girl, Woman, Other - Bernadine Evaristo ( love how it’s written, really good so far!) - The Sex Lives of African Women - Nana Darkoa ( a few pages in but so intrigued by the African women I’ve met so far!) - Burnout - The Secret to Unlocking The Stress Cycle (listened to a Brene Brown podcast on this and just had to read up on it more!) - Yinka, Where is your Huzband - Lizzie Camilla Blackburn ( a chapter in and the book has my attention ) - Dawn - Octavia E. Butler (as a sci-fi babe, don’t know why it took me so long to get my fix through books, 4 chapters in and this storyline is goood )
