GRWM... to break a world record. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ A few months ago I picked up a phone call from @myswitzerland asking if I would be interested in representing North America in their attempt to form the Longest All-Female Rope Team to summit a 4,000 m peak. I grew up in a small town with under 1,000 people in rural Alberta and somehow I ended up standing at 4,164 m behind our lead guide as the first to summit the Breithorn yesterday morning followed by 80 amazing women from all over the world. It was an emotional day at the top to say the least as mothers called their families and I FaceTimed my mom (thanks for picking up at 2:30am) - flags from all over the world waved in the wind and both hugs and tears flowed freely.
