The real practice happens when no one’s watching 😬 To be completely transparent, I’ve not been posting much about my own practice because I’ve been dealing with a lot of self-doubt and anxiety, and I also feared the thought of being judged online. The last thing I wanted was to share my practice and not be proud about what I was putting out. 😌 And so with this reel, I really hope to connect with you more often and through my practice and yours, be on this journey with you. ❤️ Here are 4 postures I find are challenging in subtle ways. These postures have given me a head start in improving my balance, body awareness and movement in my hips, legs (glutes, hamstrings, quads, calves, ankles) and shoulders. I’ve been able to gain stability in my core muscles and my knees and ankles are much stronger now. Between you and me, the pistol squat to warrior 3 was both fun and challenging. It tested my patience that’s for sure 😂 Your body’s not the same with every changing moment, so having some of these challenging moves to test your stamina can be a healthy motivator day to day. Try them and let me know what you think! 🦵🏽🔥🦵🏽 P.S Prepping the body is important - make sure to incorporate some warm ups and stretches before attempting to work on the above! I find this creates a safer environment for your body to thrive. ☺️
