Recovery mode in full force 🧘🏾♂️
So how important is recovery?
As time goes on, as my body goes through more and more strain & the more research I do into recover has me spending time away from the gym in order to focus on recovery and I have to say utilising the new metrics I’m getting from my whoop has really opened my eyes to areas in which I can improve.
Now we all know sleep is where our body does most of it’s recovery but understanding the quality of sleep you need in order to properly attack the following day with the correct amount of strain can really put you ahead of the game when it comes to performance. So sometimes it’s worth missing a session if you’re particularly overworked & I’m not just talking tired from work 😂
