I've always enjoyed and looked up to The World of Interiors, so it's just such a happy moment for me to celebrate this feature – but this of all projects – my psychedelic, serpentine, fungi, crystal wonderland, installed in a perfect little sanctum, where nature calls... and made all the more special by Carly Olson's wonderful writing and Douglas Friedman's beautiful photos. One snake, led to another, which led to another, and Ari and I thought why stop there? So a toilet paper holder, guest towel tray, and toilet flush were added to complete the environment.
