Meet the Maker 👋🏻 I'm Kellie, the Artist & Owner of Palette Cakes (and also the only employee unless you count my helpful husband 😘). I'm down to earth, a bit dorky, and definitely a chef at heart. My favorite thing to do is make food, share food with others, and talk about it way too much. I've been professionally baking for almost 12 years now and operating Palette Cakes for 7. I started off my career as a prep cook, then onto a line cook, pastry assistant, cake maker, head baker, and then lastly pastry chef. I started Palette Cakes right out of pastry school and continued to grow it while moving up the ranks in other kitchens. It wasn't until fairly recently that I decided to really try to scale my business and focus on it. Working in other bakeries/restaurants really helped me learn how to be efficient, make delicious product, and how to run a successful kitchen. Palette Cakes has come a long way in the past few years and I'm so excited to keep pushing to make it grow. 🍰 I'm always so appreciative of all the love and support from you all!
