🍂 If there’s one place that you can visit during Fall season, it would be Lake O’Hara. I took this shot couple of years ago from today, and although Fall is a little bit late this season it’s the worth the trek. If you’re planning to hike the Canadian Rockies during Fall. Here are my favourites to see the larches. Some places are balls to the walls crazy but there’s a reason why. You just have to be strategic with your plans (i.e. losing sleep to get a parking spot). 1. Kananaskis/Canmore - Pocaterra Cirque/ Pocaterra Ridge - Chester Lake - Tent Ridge - Burstall Pass - Arethusa Cirque 2. Banff National Park - Larch Valley to Sentinel Pass - Taylor Lake & O’Brien Lakes - Healy Pass - Lake Agnes/Big Beehive - Mt. St Piran - Saddleback hike 3. Yoho National Park - Lake O’Hara 4. Waterton Lakes NP - Upper Rowe Lake 5. Kootenay NP (adjacent to Banff) - Arnica Lake & Twin Lakes Happy trails!
