I’ve been through many phases along this journey 🥲😅
The toxic/harmful things about physical fitness/exercise aside— here are some common misconceptions!
1. GIRLS CAN LIFT. Cardio is WONDERFUL (esp low imoact cardio— especially a form you ENJOY. But you can (and should!) strength train as well!)
2. IF your goal is to build muscle? PICK UP THOSE WEIGHTS.
3. Plyometric and/or HIIT training are awesome. However! They are not absolutely necessary and not right for everyone, or for every phase of your journey!
4. You do NOT need to feel DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) offer a session for it to be a successful workout. The more you live your body and train it evenly, the less sore you will feel. And THANK GOD cause it hurts sm 😅💀
