Do you recall a time when you returned to the place you call home after being away from it for a significant amount of time? How did it feel?! Earlier this month we got to witness something truly beautiful. A California Sea Lion returning home! Our friends and neighbors at @themarinemammalcenter rehabilitated and released Murohku, a subadult male California Sea Lion, back home at Rodeo Beach in the #MarinHeadlands. Murohku was admitted for malnutrition and leptospirosis (a bacterial infection affecting the kidneys) back in July. After a little less than a month of care at The Marine Mammal Center, he was well enough and ready to return home.
