For every $1 dollar that a man makes a black woman makes .58 cents. Let that sink in . I have to be at the top of my game across every industry just to even stay in the race . So when I hear “ she’s a bitch “ or “ difficult” remember that black female business owners have it even harder. We have to hold the line, be firm and assertive just to keep the doors open in most cases and we usually have to do it with people playing with us in our faces . I never judge a black woman business owner because I know our stakes are higher and our money is lower .
