When I first started Xtreme when I was 5 I had no clue what to expect or what to even do because I had never cheered before. The gym that I grew up in is so different compared to what it is now and I couldn’t be happier for how far our small little Louisiana gym has come. I slowly but surely fell completely in love with cheer and never thought I would see the day where I would be leaving the place that taught me everything I know. The people make the place is the truest statement I’ve ever heard. I don’t know where I would be today if it wasn’t for the amazing coaches I’ve had in my life! So many old coaches have left but still mean so much to me and I will forever be thankful for everyone! I do have a couple extra special people that have been with me since day one. @lacyeatkinson , I actually am bawling my eyes out typing this, you are the best coach anyone could ask for. The way you coach will forever be my favorite (even tho when I first started you terrified me) You will forever be the reason I am the athlete I am today because you have pushed me and believed in me since I started as a clueless little 5 year old to having you as my coach for 12 years. You are one of the greatest role models in my life. I would do 10 fil outs for you right now if you asked me to. I hate that NCA wasn’t what we hoped for this year because I wanted it for you so badly but I’m so incredibly thankful we did it in 2020. I could say so much more but I just want you to know how much I love you and how much you have impacted my life. @josh_couvillion you are the reason that I know literally anything about cheer. You have taught me all I know and continue to everyday. The passion you have for this sport and for your teams inspire me so much!! I’m so thankful I’ve had the opportunity to be coached by you and to coach with you. I’m so thankful for everything you’ve done for me and for helping me sneak into all the coaches spots at every big competition🤪 I will forever be thankful for you making me do things I did not want to do and for not letting fear get in the way because it has made me into the cheerleader I am today. I love you more than you know and I’m so thankful for you.
