🧘🏾‍♂️ Zen Moment in the Philippines 6:00 am on Biri Island With New York in all it’s bluster there is always sure to be some element of noise that ensues. Be it EMT sirens, passers by, or some driver with an overly aggressive loud engine in their car, the one thing you’re certain to rarely hear is the sound of nature. One of the benefits of being an early riser and going on runs in NYC is getting to experience your surroundings while the rest of the city is still asleep. I was in the middle of a run when I recorded this in Biri (hence the labored breathing). It was about 6:00am, I paused whatever song I was listening to on Spotify and just took in the ambient sounds around me. Enjoy this moment of zen✌🏾
