Los Angeles reminds me of my dreams. I've always believed that they, the angels, help us to fulfill them. I was born in Villavicencio a small city in Colombia and I thought that being an actress was something unattainable in a family where only I seemed to have this type of motivation related to acting, singing, perform. I came to live here a few years ago and everything seemed so difficult, getting agents, managers. They told me I wasn't the Latin@ stereotype, neither brown skin nor voluptuous and I do not speak perfect English. I missed my family, my friends, the "arepas" OMG I missed them soo much! But something told me to keep trying, studying, rigorously with discipline because something beautiful and great could happen . Something where I could contribute with what I am, with what I have worked for since I was a child and as a Latina in this place. The day has come and I have no doubt that this city is not called that for no reason, this city is the city of angels, like my brother, they, the ones who help us fulfill dreams!
