the first song i ever wrote is out in the world...and it’s such a strange feeling to even begin to encapsulate. it’s an old season, an old feeling. yet, here it is, live and visiting you all for the first time. cold honest truth was written off of a double heartbreak. a space of recognizing a reoccurring pattern that haunted me throughout all of my interpersonal partnerships and/or the longing for one. it highlights the sensibilities of codependency and letting go of it. trusting that it will, of course, all be well on the other side. i hope it finds a place of relatable context for you. while, also, bringing comfort and a positive outlook of a healed future. thank you for listening. it means the world to me!!! cannot wait to share the other songs that accompanied me through this time.
