I learned a story from my teachers about native Brazilians vision of what a picture is ; most of them thought your soul would get imprisoned in the picture or even inside the camera. I don’t thinks that’s absolutely false, I believe a certain part of your soul stays attached to the image, not just the figure, but the emotion. It is like time traveling, which is my favorite super power ( lol ). At times of disposable videos and photos that eventually becomes forgotten in the infinite web, I feel is still worth it to make images immortal... I keep shooting my camera for moments like these.
