The vibe at Greenlawn’s The Longest Table event is generally “go big or go home!,“ as evidenced by the amazing Barbie Dream House and the Mile High Club. But when you’ve been doing it as a group for 5 years (some of us have done it all 6 years), sometimes you just want to phone it in and have fun! Enter our clever, easy, and low-budget idea: The Leftovers. We repurposed previous years of Longest Table decor and costumes (Studio 54, Havana Nights, World Cup, Woodstock) and threw in all our leftover kid birthday crap, and we had a blast. It’s always the best night in town! I’m happy to have this tradition come back after a two year hiatus. I didn’t take many people pics. I was too busy having fun. #lovewhereyoulive
