it’s been such an honor working with @lisette all these years. when we first met she was having her color done with another stylist. we’ve been discussing different ways to grow her hair long but we had one obstacle called bleach. she enjoyed having light hair but i wasn’t comfortable doing it bc i knew it would damage her hair. every time she sat in my chair, we noticed how her hair looked shorter than her previous visit. her hair grew because she had roots, but that awful bleeyatch was melting her ends. unfortunately her previous colorist felt comfortable overlapping creating more breakage on her ends. after a few haircuts, she realized she can choose between healthy hair, or short damaged hair. since her goal was healthy long hair, she decided to stop the bleaching. we started glossing it with @olaplex # 1 treatment and gradually snipped off the broken ends. as you can see, she achieved the desired length pretty quickly. if you desire light hair, please consult a stylist that understands the side effects of aggressive bleaching. you can have light hair, but it has to be done gradually and never overlapping the existing blonde bc that will simply break off at that junction. continuing my paying it forward season. i will pick one of the comments by one of my followers and gift them something they’d appreciate. happy to answer color related questions
