True life: I hate public speaking. But over the course of time I’ve had to exercise the muscle required to do it until I got incredible. 🌙🥹 In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX (a law which prohibits sex-based discrimination in school or other publicly funded programs), my @Jumpan23 family and I gave some young women from the Wings Program those same skills. Public speaking is a key component in self-advocacy, and if those young women showed me anything this weekend, it’s that the future is bright and they are not afraid to speak up and truthfully for themselves. @CrenshawYMCA #InMyJs
