📣I’m delighted to welcome the inspirational artist @han_mengyun as our September artist in residence at @cfcca_uk Initially trained in the tradition of Western oil painting, Han sought difference and otherness in the histories of Chinese, Indian and Islamic art. Her work employs diverse materiality and media, including craft and architectural structures. During her residency at CFCCA Han will conduct research on the importance of craft, turning our main gallery into a temporary studio space to display the working process of woodblock printing on canvas.
